By joining VTFA you will become a member of a local community of farriers and an organization developed to support your blacksmith craftsmanship, farriery skillsets, and equine pursuits.
“I've been a member of this association for roughly 10 years. The benefits of being involved helped me connect with farriers across the region and further. Along this time, it's provided me with continuing education from clinicians from all over the U.S. and beyond. By learning in a classroom setting, wet lab, or hands on skill development events, the association and its events has helped my ability to pursue and pass the American Farriers Association CF and CJF exams. So the benefits of becoming a member and that $60 annual membership fee has been a penny on the dollar.”
